The weather forecast for today was not great.. 90% chance of rain and crazy wind were expected as a result of the cyclone further north. But these 2 just took it in their stride, made some slight allowances and let the day unfold with out fuss or stress. Thankfully the weather forecast was wrong.. we had some light rain throughout the ceremony and black skies that threatened us afterwards, but otherwise, it was perfect! Lauren and Dave's wedding day reflected who they are in everything they did.. relaxed, fun and completely perfect for each other! I had such a great time with them and it was an honour to be there to capture their day! Here's a little sneak peek of their day...
Yesterdays wedding was one of those days where you kind of wish you could slow down time. Amazing venues, a fun and very BIG bridal party, funny and supportive family & friends, and the magic that is Steph & Scott. They are both kind, humble, and gorgeous inside and out.. but sadly, they are both totally not into being photographed! :) I could tell I was taking them out of their comfort zone but they both went with it and I love all the images we created together (hence the massive sneak peek). Weird misty rain didn't dampen the mood of the day .. my cheeks ached from smiling and my mascara was a little worse for wear after the speeches too! S&S ..I hope you love your images as much as I do.. even with all the PDA's! :) Thank you for inviting me into your magical world for the day.. I loved every second of it!
Paulina first contacted me about her wedding photography over 2 years ago. I had just moved to Perth and I was thrilled when she asked me to travel back to Sydney to capture her union to Costa. It was a perfect day and I loved spending it with them, their fabulous bridal party and families! So much love, laughter and touches of blue! They had a fabulous greek ceremony which was a tribute to Costa's heritage, and then a small blessing at Paulina's family catholic church. We then headed to one of their favourite beaches, Dolls Point, for some photos. Paulina is one of my biggest blog followers so I decided that deserved a BIG blog sneak peek. Excuse any weird colours etc... I am editing on a laptop with very tired eyes. The 3 hour time difference certainly knocked me around.. but it was totally worth it! Awesome day with awesome people. Thank you Paulina & Costa... it was an honour to be there to capture your wedding story!
Rebecca was the delightful & warm lady I first met in the office of my kids school.. and I was totally blown away when she asked me to capture the wedding story of her and her beloved Kyle. Kyle is genuine and sweet and adores Bec. These two have had a busy and challenging year and together they have made it through and their love is stronger for it. Today was a celebration of that love and the coming together of 2 amazing families. So much laughter, lots of hugging and a crazy hail storm in the middle of it all! Thank you Bec & Kyle for sharing your day with me and for making me feel so welcome! I had an absolute blast and hope you did too!
What a delightful day I had! Wes and Leah decided on a friday lunchtime wedding which was fun, intimate, personal and so relaxed. I was honoured when one of the first people I met when I started running (hi Cheryl) referred me to her son and soon to be daughter in law.. and I was thrilled to be there to capture their beautiful springtime day! Thank you W&L.. I hope you had a fabulous day, even though I almost got you attacked by a mummy seagull protecting her babies...oops :) ! Thank you for sharing yourselves and your love story with me .. xxx
