stuff to know

We are based in Karrinyup, Perth, Western Australia, although I will happily travel here, there and everywhere. Travel within 100km of Perth is included. Further afield locations, interstate or destination weddings will have additional travel fees to cover accommodation and if required car hire and flight costs. Please contact me for a tailored quote.
I do encourage couples to meet with me to ensure we have a good connection. It also gives me the chance to show you my albums, chat about your needs and hear about your love story (I love that part!). We can catch up for a casual coffee or a drink sometime. If an in-person chat isn't possible, there is always Skype or the good old telephone.
As I limit the number of weddings I commit to each year to ensure my creativity and service is at it's best for my clients, I am unable to hold dates for people. After meeting with me, I will temporarily hold your date for 7 days to give you time to make your decision and ask any additional questions etc. I am a no-pressure kind of girl.... what you see is what you get. I will never push you or try to "up-sell" you. I believe in being open and honest so that we can create a good foundation of respect and trust which will always provide the best images of you and your wedding day.
All the collections include a DVD and USB of high resolution files with limited artistic enhancement. They are sized to 6x4" for ease of viewing, printing and sharing but can be printed up to 8x12" without issue. All album images and purchased prints will have further artistic polishing and retouching.
Provided images are not limited. I want you to see the story of your wedding day the way I did. As a rough guide, clients receive somewhere between 80-100 images per hour.
I believe in building close relationships with my clients so they are more relaxed and less aware of my camera. I want them to feel like we are just hanging out, having fun and enjoying our time together. For that reason I generally don't work with a second photographer. If you are uncomfortable in front of a camera normally, having 2 pointing at you from different angles certainly will not help! :) I do capture the day with 2 cameras with different lenses to allow me to obtain different perspectives quickly. If required though, a second photographer can be provided for an additional fee based on the hours of coverage they are needed for. Please contact me for more information or if you have any questions about this.
Some parts of the day may require some posing, like the group shots, to ensure everyone fits in and can be seen. But for the majority of the day, I let things unfold with minimal interference. I want you to feel comfortable and relax so I won't "pose" you into some weird cheesy way. I want you to be yourselves and fall into the natural way you hold each other, but if something is unflattering or if I sense you feel awkward, I will offer some direction.
I am an accredited member of the AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photographers ) and I am very passionate about continuing development and being an active member of the professional photography community. I have both public liability and equipment insurance just to be safe.
